CLC has established its R& D department in 1990, except for the personnel of chemistry research; the department has recruited the professionals from various fileds such as mechanics, electricity engineers, electric control, innovation and packaging design to form the R&D team to provide the best products and services for our customers. With its great work, the R&D department has acquired numerous patents from home and overseas, among that, the packaging design & innovation center is undertaking the development and application of global packaging technologies and packaging materials. In accordance with visual design, the center has also explored its business into the services of packaging innovation. Externally, the center has assisted on the activities of marketing, business exploration, and global customers' services; moreover, the center has created the design-in collaborative e-platform to further strengthen the partnership with cross-industry customers. Internally, the center has established the mechanism of group cooperative design, promotes group's image, simplifies the process, improves efficiency and creates value, which resulting in gaining profit and honor for the entire group.

Design: packaging structural design, packaging cushions design, commercial packaging design, packaging material analysis, packaging logistic analysis and packaging testing. |

Achievement & Awards:
The company participated in a packaging design competition conducted by the World Packaging Organization (WPO) in 1988 for the first time, winning the first World Star packaging prize for the country. Till now, we have gained 26 prizes successively and also the excellent work prize from the TAPPI, U.S.A. In additions, over the years, we have taken part in various competitions with MOEA, Environmental Protection Bureau, Foreign Trade Association, and New Environment Foundation and so forth, gaining numerous prizes such as Taiwan Design Awards, Good Design Awards, Packaging Star Award as well as the Green Star.
For the plate design, the company has granted numerous prizes from the 1st World Chinese Visual Design Competition, GSP mark, the logo competition of Kinmen National Park, Year 2000 lucky toy as well as International Salon of the Poster France
Such success has earned local and international recognition. Since 1987, we have earned more than 30 packaging design inventions and patent rights.
