Cheng Loong has four fully automated mills in Taiwan – the Tayuan mill, the Chupei mill, the Hsinchu mill, and the Holi mill as well as the Shanhai Chung Loong mill in China, with a total of 13 paper machines and one off-machine coater. Seven of these paper machines produce industrial paper products: linerboard, corrugating medium, core board. Two produce duplex coated board products: coated ivory board, duplex coated board with white back, duplex coated board with gray back, gypsum board, and playing card board. Two produce art and office papers: art paper, light weight coated paper, writing and printing paper, mechanical printing paper, manifold paper, Kraft paper, and post consumer paper. And two produce household paper products: facial tissue, toilet tissue, napkins, kitchen towels, hand towels, absorbent paper, environmental hand towels, and environmental toilet tissue.

Our modern papermaking equipment is mainly from international renowned brands, such as Mesto, Voith, Kobayashi and Yueli, all equipped with computer automated control system, along with the basis weight and moisture control system and spot detector devices on the production line, enabling us to ensure consistent quality of our products.

Cheng Loong’s mills have all passed ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certification. In order to optimize operational capability, we have also implemented Total Production Maintenance (TPM) in pursuit of zero breakdown, zero defect, and zero accident.

With annual production capacity exceeding 1.8 millions tons, Cheng Loong is the largest industrial paper company in Taiwan and one of the top 100 paper manufacturers in the world.

We continue to pursue efficiency, cost reduction and sustainable development by constantly upgrading our facilities and implementing TPM practices. Production efficiency is improved at the source and ultimately creates a synthesis of people, equipment, technology, and management. We also use a host of software systems including order acceptance, production scheduling, logistics, and QA management systems to ensure high product quality, prompt delivery, and attentive service.
