Beginning early on with concern for product safety, the companyhas constantly controlled use of materials hazardous to the environment in order to meet safety & health requirements for paper products in contact with foodstuffs. Moreover, it introduced industrial waste reduction and clean production techniques, initiated a greenproduction mechanism, passed ISO 14001 environmental management system certification at the highest level in 1996, and has since maintained green production operation management and improvement. It strengthens promotion of green packaging design by playing the role of packaging safety and green spokesman for customer's' goods. It attaches special importance to design, development, promotion, and application by using corrugated paper as the simplex material for the purpose of simplicity in corrugated paper-ware packaging recovery, in an attempt to reduce classification difficulty in paper-ware recovery & recycling, and to control sources of foreign material admixture.

More than 92% wastepaper is used for industrial paper produced in our paper mills. Corrugated paper packaging-ware made of such raw corrugated paper conforms to basic conditions set in the Environmental Regulations specifications. The company has obtained 22 Environmental Regulations application authorizations for products such as corrugated paper cartons, household paper and fine paper, while properly fulfilling its environmental duties, such as green product promotion, and advocating green consumption. Its specially developed surfacing pasteboard made of wastepaper has helped it to obtain a green procurement object from an American businessman, and received positive comments as a substitute for local kraft paperboard.
